Embracing The Joys of Grandparenthood

Some dates linger in our memory, forever etched in the tapestry of our lives. For me, those dates are 23rd March 2020 and 23rd March 2024. They mark significant milestones in my journey through the four stages of life as outlined by my culture: Student, Married, Retired, and Renunciate Role Model. My grand kids Vidhan and Inaira were born on these dates respectively.  Now, standing at the cusp of stage three and four, I can't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude towards life for carrying me this far. Just as my parents, friends, and teachers propelled me from stage one to two, now it's my children and life itself ushering me into the next phase. I often pondered what it would be like to be a grandpa, and now, blessedly, I find myself living that reality. Vidhan and now Inaira constitute the very essence of my existence. The hustle and bustle of my earlier days have given way to a quieter, more contemplative rhythm. No longer in the driver's seat, I find solace i...

Buddha and The Art of Waiting

(My Design of Krishna and Buddha Fused together)      Human Design Experts boldly declare that a Manifesting Generator(MG) is an archetype in himself. There are ‘Types’ in Human Design. Essentially, four Types, i.e. Manifestor, Generator, Projector and a Reflector. Each has a unique Decision Making Authority sans the mind. Now MG is a cusp between a Manifestor, who can initiate like warriors and Generators who’s strategy of life is to wait . Wait as in, Buddha waiting. A Buddha in meditation is simply waiting for ‘wisdom’ to arrive. No doing and no initiating. No where to go. All that is good comes to him automatically. Hence, a MG type ha...

Secrets of Breathing : My Gateway to Bliss

Image
Harnessing the Power of Breathing and My Journey of Transformation           In a world often tumultuous and chaotic, where stress seems to be the norm, there exists a beacon of light that has touched countless lives, offering solace, rejuvenation, and profound transformation. At the heart of this beacon is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a visionary spiritual leader whose teachings and practices have become synonymous with inner peace, harmony, and holistic well-being. Central to his teachings is the profound breathing technique known as Sudarshan Kriya, a timeless gift to humanity that has the power to unlock untapped potential and reveal new dimensions of reality.           My own journey with Sudarshan Kriya began in 2002, during a Basic Course held in the rustic  surroundings of Jhansi under the guidance of the Art of Living teacher, Ms. Tripta Dhawan. It was a day suffused with mysticism, as the transformative power of Sudarsh...
