Secrets of Breathing : My Gateway to Bliss

Harnessing the Power of Breathing and My Journey of Transformation




        In a world often tumultuous and chaotic, where stress seems to be the norm, there exists a beacon of light that has touched countless lives, offering solace, rejuvenation, and profound transformation. At the heart of this beacon is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a visionary spiritual leader whose teachings and practices have become synonymous with inner peace, harmony, and holistic well-being. Central to his teachings is the profound breathing technique known as Sudarshan Kriya, a timeless gift to humanity that has the power to unlock untapped potential and reveal new dimensions of reality.

        My own journey with Sudarshan Kriya began in 2002, during a Basic Course held in the rustic  surroundings of Jhansi under the guidance of the Art of Living teacher, Ms. Tripta Dhawan. It was a day suffused with mysticism, as the transformative power of Sudarshan Kriya became palpable. I vividly recall the euphoria that enveloped me as I experienced this profound breathing technique for the first time. Little did I know that this moment would mark the beginning of a life-altering journey.

        The turning point came immediately after the Advanced Course, a pivotal experience that transcended the boundaries of the ordinary. It was on 18th February 2010, a date etched indelibly in my memory, when the dormant Kundalini Energy within me surged forth, igniting a cascade of sensations that reverberated through my being. As the energy rose to the Throat and Ajna Centre, I felt a profound shift in consciousness. My eyes turned inward and upward, as if guided by an unseen force, and a new focal plane emerged, unveiling vistas of intuition and peace previously unknown to me.




        Through the synchronicity of breath and heartbeat, breathing and Om became not merely a practice but a way of life, opening the doors to a realm where the past, present, and future converged. With clarity of vision, I could glimpse events unfolding well into the future, ushering in a newfound dimension of awareness and understanding.




        The ancient wisdom of the Vedas resonates deeply with the transformative power of breathing techniques. In these sacred texts, the breath is revered as the bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, a conduit through which one can attain optimum health, happiness, and inner peace. Meditation, with its regulated principles and rhythmic patterns, embodies this timeless wisdom, offering a holistic approach to well-being that transcends the confines of conventional medicine.

        Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on the profound impact of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Sudarshan Kriya on my life. Their teachings have opened up new dimensions of reality, guiding me on a journey of self-discovery and inner transformation. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my teacher, Ms. Tripta Dhawan, whose unwavering dedication to the Art of Living Foundation continues to inspire and uplift so many seeking to experiment and experience the multi dimensionality of breathing techniques and happiness.
