Buddha and The Art of Waiting

    Human Design Experts boldly declare that a Manifesting Generator(MG) is an archetype in himself. There are ‘Types’ in Human Design. Essentially, four Types, i.e. Manifestor, Generator, Projector and a Reflector. Each has a unique Decision Making Authority sans the mind. Each has a unique individual Strategy, which helps one to navigate one’s Life Trajectory as per one’s own Software and Hardware inside. Now MG is a cusp between a Manifestor, who can initiate like warriors and Generators who’s strategy of life is to wait. Wait as in, Buddha waiting. A Buddha in meditation is simply waiting for ‘wisdom’ to arrive. No doing and no initiating. No where to go. All that is good comes to him automatically. Hence, a MG type has a difficult balancing act. 

    As one Human Design Expert Richard Rudd says,

    "Enter the Manifesting Generator. We have a Warrior Buddha. There is no aura on earth like this. The true manifesting generator aura is a perfect coincidence of yin and yang. At once effortless and yet endlessly capable of moving at light speed for sustained periods of time. These people are the true archetype of what humanity is capable of. If there is a golden child among the Types, these are the people.

    The secret for the manifesting generator is the secret of the feminine. They represent a fusion, or a struggle, between male and female poles. The untamed wildness of the Warrior and the silence and surrender of the Buddha. If you are a manifesting generator, which one would you rather control your life? Your life is an expression of this cosmic balancing act.

    Every time you let the warrior lead, the Buddha is pulled off center and the resistance you meet is extraordinary. But when you allow the Buddha to guide your life in patience and quiet trust, then your aura really begins to burn with light. Your potential bursts out all around you for all to see, but it is your ability to hold it in check that impresses people the most. You can achieve more in one lifetime than a generator can in one hundred (the pure generator living their nature is not interested in achievement). Sadly, very few manifesting generators are able to anchor themselves enough in the feminine to fulfill their true potential.”

    Now, I am a Manifesting Generator. Yes, an Archetype Warrior Buddha. You may ask, So what? Well, it’s important to share that decades before I was introduced to The Science of Human Design, I was “Living” the strategy of a MG. It was just that I was not aware. I would oscillate between the two poles of Yin & Yang and would get confused on which Shore to dock on. As most of my friends know, I am an ardent student of Krishna and of Buddha, too. I am always drawn to the basic principles they enunciated through their lives. Much to my surprise, it was through Human Design that I actually learnt this was so as  I am a MG! It’s in my nature to live in my yin and in my yang. 

    A Siddharth (warrior prince) has a Buddha hidden in each on of us. This Buddha Purnima, I urge all who read this to search for the yin and yang inside. To lead a Life in  waiting for wisdom to arrive and not in a life chasing it and trying to create it. Even Buddha had to give up his chase and only when he surrendered to waiting that the Apple of  Enlightenment dropped on him under the Bodhi tree at Gaya. I am fully aware that none of us seek to sit under a tree and wait for enlightenment to happen. What is important to understand is to trust the process of life and honour the yin and yang inside and develop waiting as an artform. In today's Terra Hz bandwidth run at Mach speeds, its important to press the Pause button. Then wait....

    So, perhaps this is what you needed to be reminded. How much more yielding can you be? How much more can you surrender to living your truth? Happy Buddha Purnima to All.
