The World Ahead - What Next?
It’s 08 Jan today, 2026. Every year towards the end of the year I am often asked, “Ashu, what’s your predictions for the coming year?” I guess over the years I have been called a poor n faint photocopy of Nostradamus!! Well, while the juice is always in the details, exact periods or timelines; I have lately started focusing on bigger details or algorithms. And friends, it’s not a choice or a button click but happens naturally as part of my own inner hardware. So, while I have got it correct when I said that BJP will get 303 in 2019(after phase 2) n 421/250+-(BJP) in 2024. Or, Modi would be PM when he was CM or the Jasmine revolution or the Japanese Tsunami(a year in advance), or that cars will become boats and boats will become cars well before the last delhi floods or Tump will beat Hillary(said in Mar of his first election campaigning) or that 5.03 millions will die(said in in march of 2019) due to a virus which will course correct how life absorbs oxygen(COVID). And there are many more involving cricket scorelines or a football finals lineup or Stokes playing havoc against NZ in an ICC final .
But, today I wish to share something far more important Something which involves an impending change in how we live - eat, mate, interact, marriages, r governed , economics etc. In fact, the complete alchemy of a new world order.
Picture this:-
For the last 400 years or so, we’ve built our world on solid group plans(Tribal Ways) - families, communities, schools, jobs, governments, all locked into agreements that kept things running like clockwork. We’ve leaned on tribes, shared workloads, focused details and honed skills together. In simple words a brain and effort driven homogeneous society. Effort and Logic led to our present levels of development and creativity. While, simultaneously our emotions were uncontrollable and we also fought and killed each other and kept exploiting Nature and resources. That’s the era we are in right now, the one that shaped modern civilisation.
But it’s ending soon - around 2027. What comes next flips the script entirely. The new phase lasts over 400 years and is centred on you, the individual(from Tribal/Group to Individuation). No more hiding in the crowd. Expect a surge in personal power, raw spirit, intimate connections and living fully in the moment.
Institutions? They’ll crumble or fade - governments, healthcare, education, banks. The old safety nets of community support vanish. People turn inward for truth, ditching group rules for their own sovereignty. I call it a post Assange/Snowden era. Truth cannot be shoved under the carpet. An age of transparency and whistleblowers. Abundance won’t mean stockpiles of cash; it’ll be about emotional depth and spiritual fire. That will happen as our biology is due to mutate. Our emotions will become logical or should I say aware.
As is common toward the end of any civilisation(Greece, Roman, Egyptian, Indus, Dwarka, British); Chaos ramps up. Predictability dies - “planning” was the old game; now it’s spontaneity and inner strength. A wave of change hits emotions, relationships, even how we evolve as humans. Kids born into this will think, eat, mate, decide and connect differently, more as a unified flow but as lone wolves.
So, the world sees a collapse of UN and other alliances and world institutions which glued together our rule and order based society and way of life. Each country will/is witness rise of Disrupters who will set the tone for a new way of life. The old guys and oligarchs(all over) will try and hold on to the last threads of the yesteryear way of life and control. A Putin, Trump, Or a Modi, Yogi and Raga etc are the pivots around which radical disruption will occur. It is not about right, left or centre any longer. It’s about “forces” which can bring in disruptive and mutational changes. Obviously, this will lead to ideological friction as happens when the tail gets stuck in the needle eye, when the elephant has crossed over. Each of us will have to devise individual strategies to survive and move ahead. The background frequency which runs our universe will change around 2027. This will impact our thinking and decision making. The definition of “control” as in who is in control - at family, society, country level- will change. Abnormality will be the normality for now.
What’s in store for everyone? Self-reliance becomes survival. Tune into your gut, your body, your truth - external systems won’t save you. Let go of old expectations; build inner clarity now. The world’s going solo - thrive by owning your power, or get left scrambling. Its time to “listen to your own body’s intelligence “. The animals do not go to Cambridge or Oxford. Yet a Protozoa survives. How? It trusts to make decisions based on its “Form(body) intelligence”. So, dig in deep. Listen to your body’s messages. That alone will help you get across. Your own individual “Animal instincts and intelligence will be your Noah’s Ark”.

Scary and highly possible
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree. This isn’t alarmism, it’s pattern recognition.
ReplyDeleteControl structures are already shifting at family, social, and national levels, and what once looked like “abnormal” is fast becoming the default operating mode. In that landscape, self-reliance isn’t a lifestyle choice anymore; it’s a survival skill.
External systems are showing their limits. Institutions that were built for stability are struggling in volatility. That’s why the credibility of the UN will be at stake in this very century, not someday in the abstract, but now, as people increasingly realize that global frameworks cannot respond at the speed of lived reality. When systems fail to protect, guide, or adapt, individuals stop looking outward.
Your point about body intelligence is crucial. Life has always survived by listening inward, not upward. Animals don’t outsource decision-making. Even a protozoa doesn’t wait for validation, it responds instantly to its environment through form-based intelligence. Humans forgot this when they over-indexed on institutions, credentials, and borrowed authority.
The world is going solo, not in isolation, but in inner sovereignty. Those who rebuild clarity, discipline, and instinct will navigate the chaos. Those who cling to old expectations will keep waiting for rescues that aren’t coming.
Your closing line says it best:
Individual animal instinct and intelligence is the new Noah’s Ark.
Everything else is noise.
Very nicely put across the possibility which lies ahead in coming years. While, one always percievs the challenges ahead and prepares one self, but, your views or whatever you call it definitely sounds a bell as a wake up call. Great Ashu. Tagra Raho.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree Ashu. Every day we are witnessing the signals getting louder
ReplyDeleteNamaste Ashutosh,
ReplyDeleteYou are spot on, when you predict and speak of the Violence that awaits every one of us and it is just around the Corner.
The need to every one to look within and be prepared is the need of the hour.
The recent past World Wide developments and demonstrated Violence is only a pre-cursor to the events to unfold.
When Jews were butchered only because of who they were and World is split on their response with University level students uncertain of what is right is a clear switch flipped.
Kurds and other Minority groups being massacred with the World watching in silence has flipped another Switch.
US bombing Nigeria to protect Christians is another switch flipped.
When a HINDU is beaten to DEATH AND STUNG TO A TREE AND BURNT with an entire Nation is busy capturing it LIVE ON THEIR MOBILES IN BANGLADESH, and the WORLD SILENT TO THE ATROCITY is a switch flipped.
When you see a President of a Sovereign state Captured (Kidnapped) and the Worlds response is muted, Confused and gibberish being spoken, another switch has flipped.
Order/ Rule based UN world Order is also UNIPOLAR now.
Certainly thank you for the wake up call with your predictions.
You’ve dug deep and it’s Quite an insight Ashu !!
ReplyDeleteIn local dialect”Sawari apne saman ki zimmewar hai”
ReplyDeleteIf collectivism was the theme of society in past few centuries, it had already started changing to individualistic way of life post WW-II. It started initially in Western societies and has now accelerated all over the world.
ReplyDeleteCollectivism has shrunk, but will not vanish. Global village will shrink to medieval era smaller groups. This is reflected in the way nation states are acting.
Ashu, what you’re predicting for 2027, I see that already happening. If we see the world through a twenty something’s prism, it’s all about individualism. Family, society and other such groups are legacies that remain in dictionaries of we in 50s, 60s and beyond.
ReplyDeleteA very interesting read though.

ReplyDeleteA possibility Ashu. Worrisome future and indeed we are witnessing it around us. I agree with you when you say that the ultimate power lies within us and that individulism will be the new norm. I agree and accept that but the tough and most difficult part is the transition.
ReplyDeleteHow beautifully you have written the future .. I am amazed to read
ReplyDeleteWell, '27 isn't too far off. I would wait for it, now with higher excitement...!
