Ikagi
My two bits n bytes on Ikagai. I have a copy on Kindle n a hard copy, too. Used to teach n present to my colleagues n students n youngsters. Interesting process to emulate.....
Ikigai is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to "reason for being" or "purpose in life."
It's a philosophy(a process) that helps individuals discover their passion, talent, and mission in life. Here's a summary of lkigai:
Ikigai is found at the *intersection* of 5 elements(inner equations)...
1. *What you are good at* (your skill or talent) Your own natural inclination based on your own hardware.
2. *What you love doing* (your passion) Developed n focused abundance of such energy. The Software part(primarily)
3. *What the world needs* (your mission or contribution in sync with the other)
4. *What you can be paid for* (your profession) The award reward end of the algorithm.
5. *What you can do* (your vocation or calling)
Finding your ikigai requires reflection, self-awareness, and exploration(like an adventurer).
It's a *journey* to discover your unique purpose and passion, leading to a fulfilling and meaningful life.
The concept of ikigai is often represented by a Venn diagram with five overlapping circles, each representing one of the elements above. Where the circles intersect is your ikigai – your reason for being. *Raison d'état*
Remember, ikigai is a personal and ongoing journey, not a destination. It's about living a life that is true to who you are and what you value.
It's the *kinematics* of a Sidharth residing in the *potential* of the Buddha in each one of us.
I found my Ikagai recently after an arduous adventure of 40 years. 🤗
