The DNA of Happiness

               On The Nature of Happiness

Happiness is always present within us, latent but obscured by our 'resistance' to the current situation. This resistance in turn is activated on behalf of the subliminal layer of our conditioned likes and dislikes. How our present lot is a slave to the woes of Likes and Dislikes on Instagram, Facebook,  Blogs. So much so, that it has subtly built layers of concrete egos on our original innate persona and being.

We do not seek any object, substance, activity, circumstance or relationship or result for its own sake - but rather to satisfy the demand implicit in our preferences.

When this demand is met as per our conditioned  likes, our resistance to the current situation comes to an end. We align to the situation and our innate happiness which is our true Nature shines through.

The smart ones do not wait for their circumstances to align with their preferred outcome or how things should be.

Their happiness is prior to and independent of the content of their experience. Their experience does not determine their happiness.
Summary
- Happiness n peace r our essential Nature.
- Happiness gets veiled by seeking an object of desire. Has a short shelf life.
- Unhappiness gets wheels and keeps moving with us when a particular outcome is desired or preferred but not fulfilled or completed.
- Unhappiness always has a cause - frustration of our expectations and the subsequent activity of seeking and resisting.
- Happiness is always causeless.
- In absence of our demand n expectations of a preferred outcome, the experience is acceptable without any resistance.
- Happiness can never be found outside. It can only be revealed inside.
